As a Turkmen who happens to love black and white photography, I had to purchase this book and I’m glad I did. The book is like a time machine going back 50 or so years to Turkmen villages. It was delightful to flip through the pages and look at excellent reproductions of the beautiful prints. There are many portraits of village elders and also photos of general village life. Would recommend it to anyone who loves vintage black and white photos.
