Through the Eyes of Durdy Bayramov: Turkmen Village Life, 1960s-80s features black-and-white photographs taken by the artist Durdy Bayramov in the rural villages of his native Turkmenistan. In making these images available for the first time, this exhibition and catalogue provide a way for one of Turkmenistan’s greatest artists to introduce a broad audience to that country’s rich cultural heritage.
